Inland Theatre Works Presents
Grease and Taming of the Shrew!
Actors paid stipends!
In our 5th season we explore troubled relationships in the 1950s.
The summer lovers, Danny and Sandy, are balanced by a not-so-perfect 50s couple, Kate and Petruchio in our version of the Taming of the Shrew.
Auditions are June 15 and 16 from 5 – 8pm at the Sturges Theatre, with callbacks on the 17th.
Click for Directions
For Grease: Director Margaret Perry
Actors should prepare 16 measures of a song that best showcases your voice, consideration of the 50s style of music would be helpful. Accompaniment will be provided, and sheet music should be clearly marked and in the appropriate key. Actors should also come prepared to read from the script and will learn a short dance routine. Please dress accordingly, including footwear.
For Shrew: Director Tom Provenzano
Actors should prepare a one minute monologue, preferably Shakespeare, and be prepared to read from the script.
Performances September 10th – 20th
at the Sturges Theatre in downtown San Bernardino
Rehearsals begin July 13th
Questions call – 909-954-4540 email - info@ftcsb.org

01/08: 3D Theatre Festival NEWS!
3D Short Play Festival (the sequel) planned for 2010
We've decided to have a sequel to the successful short play festival we started last year. However, like any good sequel, we've decided to make the audience wait two years to see the next installment. The main reason for the wait is to focus all of our energies on planning for the summer of 2009, which promises to be our best summer yet, with a new bigger and better venue and a goal of adding a couple of union actors to our wonderful pool of local talent. Stay tuned.
